MELÍES is made from hand-picked Koroneiki and Arbequina olives gathered at dawn by thirteen Peloponnese families. Thirteen families, with generations of ancestors who all worked the same groves, join together to participate in this local production which is heralded internationally. Within hours of harvest the oil is extracted, creating a silky-smooth, food-friendly olive oil with aromas of herbs, hay and green almonds. The persistence shows itself with a pronounced finish indicative of its freshness.
